IWD 2021 - International Women’s Day.

In homage to Women worldwide, I took an extra interest to International Women’s Day this year on my social media account IG @patylastrid (follow me if you haven’t yet!)

International Women’s Day (IWD2021) Campaign this year #ChooseTo Challenge ignited a spark in me. Choose to challenge is a worldwide initiative in voicing the challenge you would want to raise for women. I chose in promoting inclusiveness in the work place & recognizing women in creatives.

Women have made an impact in History worldwide by raising awareness & being the creators of new innovations that have propelled men in the limelight.

Though the list of achievers is never-ending, I admire and share with you the following seven women that have affected me one way or another:

I am surrounded by strong beautiful women who are paving their way and establishing their presence in the world. Their voice is being heard. They are educating their surrounding and the next generation. It is important to provide guidance and knowledge to the latter as they will be the messenger to their offspring.

Raising Women’s awareness and remind of their achievements is an ongoing task that we women should constantly voice and fight for. The battle is long from being achiever. Let us raise the next generation in respecting and valuing US!
